2 cups warm water
1/3 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons active dry yeast
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
5 to 6 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl dissolve sugar in warm water and stir in yeast. Allow to proof until yeast resembles a creamy foam.

Mix salt and oil into the yeast mixture. Mix in flour 1 cup at a time. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Place in a well oiled bowl and cover with a cloth. Allow to rise until doubled in bulk. (About one hour)

Punch dough down and knead for a few minutes. Divide in half and shape into 2 loaves. Place into well oiled loaf pans and allow to rise for 30 minutes or until dough is 1 inch above pans. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
