1 Duncan Hines Spice Cake Mix
1 small pkg. instant chocolate mix
4 eggs
3/4 c. oil
3/4 c. dates or raisins
3/4 c. water
1 c. jam-your choice
1c. nuts
3 t. cocoa

Icing
1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
4 tbsp. milk
confectionary sugar

Directions:
Mix cake ingredients and bake in a tube pan at 350 degrees per the mix directions.

Bring icing ingredients to a rolling boil, coo. Beat and add confectionary sugar to thicken to a spreading stage.
