Crust:
1 C flour
1/4 lb butter (1 stick)
2 Tbsp water

Cake batter:
1 C water
1/4 lb butter (1 stick)
1 C flour
2 eggs

Frosting:
2 C powdered sugar
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
milk
chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together ingredients for crust. Press flat onto a large cookie sheet. Let stand while oven preheats to 450º. Boil together 1 C water and 1/4 lb butter. Remove from heat. Add flour. Mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Spread evenly and completely over crust. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. DON'T PEEK! Crust will fall as it cool. Mix together frosting. The amount of milk used varies depending on weather and preferences. Add 1 Tbsp at a time until desired consistency is reached. Spread frosting over cooled coffee cake.
