(1) Cut the corn off the cob. (I like white corn for this, but any is fine.)
(2) Using a spoon, gather the corn "milk" into the bowl with the cut corn
(3) Mix the dry ingredients
(4) Stir dry ingredients into water
(5) Pour mixture over corn
(5) Melt butter in large, heavy-bottomed skillet. Swirl to cover bottom.
(6) Add corn and then water/flour mixture.
(7) Cook for 45 minutes over medium/low heat, stirring occasionally
