2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. granulated sugar
2 T. light corn syrup
1 c. light cream
1/4 c. oleo
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
walnut halves, optional

Directions:
Directions:
In medium pan, combine sugars, corn syrup, and cream. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to a boil; boil without stirring to 236º, soft ball stage. Remove from heat. Add butter, but do not stir. Cool to 110º.
Add vanilla. With wooden spoon, beat until frosting is creamy and barely holds its shape. Set pan in pan of hot water. Frost cake and decorate with walnuts, if desired.
