Cake:
1 stick oleo
1/2 cup Crisco
4 tbs. cocoa
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Frosting:
4 tbs. cocoa
6 tbs. milk
1 stick oleo
1 lb. powdered sugar

Directions:

Cake:
Melt 1 stick oleo and 1/2 cup Crisco.
Add 1 cup water and 4 tbs. cocoa.
Add 2 cups sugar, 2 cups flour, 1/2 cup buttermilk, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. vanilla.

Batter is thin.

Bake 20 minutes in 400 degree oven.

Frosting:
10 minutes after cake is put in oven:
Mix 4 tbs. cocoa, 6 tbs. milk, 1 stick oleo in pan.
Bring to boil.
Dump in 1 pound powdered sugar.

Pour icing over cake as soon as it is removed from the oven.
