Crust:
25 Nabisco Gingersnaps, finely crushed (about 1 cups) 1 cup finely chopped pecans, cup melted butter. Heat oven to 325. Mix ingredients together and press onto bottom of spring form pan and 2/3s up the side of pan. Bake for 5 minutes.
Or:
1 cups graham crumbs, 5 tbs butter 1 tbsp sugar. Heat oven to 350, prepare as above and bake for 5 minutes.

Filling:
4 8oz pkg cream cheese, softened 1 cup sugar
1 cup canned pumpkin 1 tsp vanilla
4 eggs 1 tsp cinnamon
tsp ground nutmeg tsp allspice or cloves

Beat cream cheese, cup sugar and vanilla with electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Remove
1 cups of the batter and set aside in small bowl. Stir remaining cup sugar, pumpkin and spices into remaining batter. Spoon half of the pumpkin batter into crust; top with spoonfuls of half of the reserve batter. Repeat layers. Cut through batter with knife several times for marble effect.
Bake 60-70 minutes at 350 or until center is firm and cake is a little darker. Remove from heat and let sit hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Serve with whip cream.
