Ingredients:
½ stick (4 Tbsp) butter or margarine
3 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 cup light corn syrup (can use dark)
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
¼ tsp salt
3 eggs, beaten
6 oz. pecan halves (about 1 ½ cups), optional
9” pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and chocolate squares in saucepan – add syrup, sugar, vanilla, salt, eggs and mix well. Pour into pie crust. Bake at 350 for one hour, or until firm in the middle. Do not over bake; it will make the pie sweat and part from the crust.
If using pecans, put them on the crust before you pour the chocolate mixture in.
