Ingredients:
2 lb. hot sausage
1 1/2 c. sharp shredded cheddar cheese
5 c. Bisquick mix

If you want add Hungarian Paprika to mix for color and additional zip

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage and let it set at room temperature along with shredded cheese.
Mix everything up in a big bowl.
This is an easy appetizer for little kids to help make.
If you are not a little kid, drink a beer and watch TV while you
Roll into sausage/cheese/Bisquick into little balls (about a hearty teaspoon worth) and store in the freezer in plastic bags.

For a last minute going to a party (or giving a party - Friday night friends coming over) take out as many as you think people will eat (like 4 or 5 per person).

Using a floured fork lightly press the ball down, or use your thumb for a thumb print.

Bake at 350º for about 20 mins. Don't overcook -- just want a nice brown color.

If you have a thumb print you can put a smidgen of apricot jelly or barbecue sauce in the center of some of the appetizers.
