1/2 c. shortning
2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 c. milk
4 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and shortening and vanilla
Add eggs 1 at a time.
Add flour 1 cup at a time, sugar, milk, salt, and vanilla.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Put into cold oven baking at 325 for 1/2 hour and 350 for 1/2 hour.
