1/2 c butter
1 1/2 c brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 c flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 c cut walnuts

Frosting:
3 TBSP butter
2 c powdered sugar
2 TBSP hot water
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Stir in walnuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes.
Frosting: Brown butter. Add powdered sugar, hot water and vanilla. If too thick add a few more drops of water until spreading consistency. Frosting hardens as it cools.
