1 1/2 c sugar
1/2 c butter
1/2 c shortening
2 eggs
2 3/4 cup flour
2 t cream of tartar
1 t baking soda
1/4 t salt

For rolling cookies:
2 T sugar
2 T cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, butter, shortening, and eggs. Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Mold dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls. Roll balls in cinnamon sugar mixture to coat. On an cookie sheet bake 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees.
