1 gallon fresh bottled water
5 pounds head-on shrimp

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and de-head shrimp. Put shrimp meat aside to be deveined and cooked in another recipe.
Put heads and shells in stock pot (or crock pot set on high). Get to a boil and reduce to simmer. Skim off the foam as needed.
Cook until liquid is reduced by half. Strain solids out using a strainer and mesh cheese cloth. This may need to be done two or three times.Save in smaller portions and freeze.
