1 Pkg. Yellow Cake Mix
1 1/3 Cups Orange Juice
4 Egg Yolks
1 1/2 Tsp. Grated Orange Peel
4 Egg Whites
1/4 Tsp. Cream of Tarter
1 Cup Sugar
1 Quart Fresh Strawberries
2 Tbsp. Sugar
2 Cups Whipping Cream

Directions:

Combine first 4 ingredients. Beat 4 minutes. Pour into 2 greased and floured round cake pans. Beat egg white and cream of tarter to soft peaks, gradually add 1 cup sugar - beat until stiff. Spread meringue over batter. Bake 350 - 35 minutes. Cool 15 minutes. - remove from pans, place on plates - meringue side up.
Mash 1/2 cup strawberries with 2 tbsp. sugar - add heavy cream, adding sugar as desired - whip until stiff. Put part of mixture between layers - remainder on top. Garnish with whole strawberries.
