Apple Slices Recipe

2c Flour
c shortening
tsp salt
2 egg yolks
c milk
1 TBSP lemon juice
4c thin sliced apples
c granulated sugar
1 1/3 TBSP flour
1 tsp cinnamon

Mix crust ingredients like a pie crust and chill. Divide in half. Roll thin and put into a large 12x18 pan or cookie sheet.
Mix together the filling. Spread the filling on top of bottom crust. Roll out 2nd half of crust dough and place on top. Slash like a pie crust. Moisten with water and seal the bottoms over the top. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes. Frost with a powdered sugar glaze when still warm.
