In slow cooker, heat 6 cups of liquid (combined broth, tomato juice or pureed canned tomatoes to taste) with 4 bay leaves.

Fry and add 4 strips bacon (sliced) and 1 lb sliced sausage
In bacon fat, brown:
1 lb cubed moose meat, or stewing beef
4 Tbsp flour
Add to slow cooker.

Dice and saute 2 large onions, 2-4 cloves minced garlic and 2 large stalks celery.
Add to slow cooker with 2 Tbsp Cajun spice.

Slice and add 8 oz sliced okra.

Directions:

Slow cook on high for about 3 hours. Add cooked shelled shrimp and heat through.

Serve as soup or over rice.
