Directions:
Shred 1 medium head cabbage. Add 1 Tbsp. salt. Let stand for 1 hour. Squeeze out salty liquid.

Add:
1 carrot, grated
1 chopped green (or other color) bell pepper
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed

In a small saucepan, combine the following:
2 c. sugar (I use about 1/4 c. less)
1/2 c. water
1 c. vinegar
Bring to a boil. Pour over cabbage mixture and mix well. Put in freezer containers. (I use zip-top plastic bags.)
Thaw 1 hour before serving.
