About 2 Tbsp olive oil (to coat bottom of nonstick fry pan)
Seasoning of your choice

Directions:
Directions:
Heat olive oil in pan until shimmering over medium heat.
Sprinkle flesh side of salmon fillets with seasoning.
Place salmon, skin side up, in pan. Cook, uncovered for 8 minutes.
Turn off heat and flip salmon, flesh side up. Cover pan and let sit for 8 minutes.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I often use lemon pepper or basil and lemon for seasoning.
This can be used with other fish of the same texture (such as, cod, haddock, sea bass, and mackeral). It also works better if your fish is about 3/4 to 1 inch thick.
