8 oz. cream cheese softened
1/4 cup butter or stick margarine
2-3 tsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat cream cheese, butter, milk and vanilla in medium bowl with electric mixer on low speed until smooth.
Gradually beat in powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, on low speed until smooth and spreadable.

This makes well more than enough for a 13x9 cake or 2 layer 9 inch cake. I usually have about 3/4 of a store bought frosting container left.
