2 sliced apples
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup oat groats
4 cups water

Combine ingredients in crockpot and cook on low for 8-9 hours.

You can also use 2 cups oatmeal and 4 cups water instead of oat groats.
I actually prefer making this in my electric pressure cooker. It takes about 1 hour total, set time to 45 minutes. In the pressure cooker only use 2 cups water to 1 cup oat groats.
