1 pounds browned hamburger or ground turkey
2 TBS butter or stick margarine
1 cups beef broth, divided
2 TBS ketchup
1 tsp salt
1 small clove garlic, pressed or finely chopped
3 cups sliced mushrooms (8 ounces)
1 medium onion, chopped ( cup)
3 TBS all-purpose flour
1 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
Hot cooked noodles or rice

Reserve 1/3 cup of the broth. Stir hamburger, remaining broth (1 1/6 cup), ketchup, salt and garlic into skillet. Heat to boiling over medium-high heat; reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 5 minutes.

Stir in mushrooms and onions. Cover and simmer about 5 minutes or until onion is tender.

Shake reserved broth and the flour in a tightly covered container; gradually stir into beef mixture. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute; reduce heat to low.

Stir in sour cream; heat until hot. Serve over noodles or rice.
