2 1/2 cups boiling water (heat for 3 minutes in microwave)
2 cups Quaker oats
1 cup margarine
1 cup white sugar
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Cream Cheese Icing:
1 - 8 oz. pkg. softened cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over oats in a small bowl; cover; let stand 20 minutes while you continue the recipe. Beat margarine and sugars until fluffy in large bowl. Blend in vanilla and eggs. Stir in oats. Combine flour, soda, salt and spices; add to creamed mixture; mix well. Pour into greased and floured 10" x 13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

Do not remove from pan. Just ice and slice from there! (Add milk by tablespoon to get desired
consistency for spreading on cake. Keep tasting-that's the best part!)
