1/2 cup butter flavor Crisco, soft or melted
2 eggs
2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease 9x13 inch pan with Crisco.
Beat eggs until light and foamy in a large bowl. Beat in sugar, vanilla, and Butter Crisco until creamy. Combine flour with baking powder and salt. Add to egg mixture. Mix at low speed until blended. Stir in nuts at low speed until blended. (Mixture will be stiff)

Spread evenly in pan and bake at 350º for 25-30 min. or until top is light brown. Cool 10-15 min. and cut into bars.
