1 3/4 + 1/8 cups boiling water
1 1/2 cups oatmeal
3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Frosting:
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup brown sugar
3-6 tbsp evaporated milk
Chopped nuts
1 1/2 cups coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Add oatmeal to water and let stand. Mix following cake ingredients. Add oatmeal.
Bake at 350º for 35-45 minutes or until cake is done. In sauce pan, melt butter with brown sugar and evaporated milk. Frost cake when cool. Top with nuts and coconut.
