1 1/4 cup finely crushed vanilla wafers(28)
4 Tbl. melted butter or marg.
1 quart peppermint stick (or chocolate mint) ice cream,melted
1/2 cup butter
2 (1oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
3 well beaten egg yolks
1 1/2 cups confectioner sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg whites

Directions:

Toss together crumbs and 4 Tbl. melted butter or margarine. Reserve 1/4 cup crumb mixture.

Press remaining crumb mixture into 9x9x2" baking pan. Spread with ice cream;freeze.

Melt 1/2 cup butter and the chocolate over low heat;gradually stirring into egg yolks with the sugar,nuts and vanilla. Cool thoroughly.

Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Beat chocolate mixture until smooth. Add egg whites,folding into chocolate mixture. Spread mixture over ice cream. Top with reserved crumb mixture. Freeze.

Luckily I found this at the last minute! It sounds really good. Looks like Faye's writing ,,and since it is a dessert..I'm going to go with that!
