Ingredients:
Ingredients:
16 slices white bread (Weber's or soft), crusts removed
1 pound grated cheddar cheese
3 cups milk
4 eggs
butter

Directions:
Directions:
Butter 8 slices of bread and put in 9x13 casserole, butter side down. Layer cheese next then top with remaining 8 slices of bread (unbuttered) like a sandwich. Beat milk and eggs, add salt and pepper to taste. Pour over bread mixture and sprinkle paprika over top. Refrigerate overnight.
Remove and bake uncovered at 350 degrees for one hour. Serve at once.
Sometimes I add chilies to the cheese layer or ham cubes or well drained crumbled bacon. You can really get creative with this. Can serve with a sauce on the side, like salsa or diluted mushroom soup.
