1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. applesauce (23 oz. jar)
1 tsp. soda
2 T. hot water
2 c. flour (save a little to mix with raisins)
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and applesauce, then add soda in water. Add flour and spices; mix well. Fold in raisins and nuts. Pour in an ungreased tube pan or 9X13" pan. Bake at 325º for 45 to 60 minutes.
