3 C. flour
2 1/2 C. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
1 1.2 C. milk
1 C plus 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 Tbsp. poppy seeds
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
Glaze:
1/4 C. fresh orange juice
3/4 C. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325.* In large bowl combine all ingredients with electric mixer. until well mixed. (About 2 minutes.) Pour into two greased and floured loaf pans or 9X13 pan. Bake 60 minutes, or until cake tester is clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan.
Glaze:
Heat all ingredients until sugar melts. Prick cake with a fork and cover with warm glaze.
