Traditional Family RecipeOriginal recipe was given to Mimi in 1964 at a bridal shower by the original Mimi - Jenola Googe, my beloved mother-in-law. Some variation now appears in almost every cookbook published! Sarah Googe tasted her first Chocolate Sheet Cake when she was about three. A little later when served another kind of cake, she told everyone,"That's not cake." We now refer to the Chocolate Sheet Cake as simply "Cake."
Love to all, Mimi
