1/4 c. butter
2 T. chopped shallots or onions
2 t. chopped garlic
1 T. balsamic vinegar
1 T. EVOO
7 c. broccoli florets
1 medium red bell pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
2 T. toasted sesame seeds, if desired

Melt butter in saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until butter just starts to turn golden brown (4-6 minutes). Butter will get foamy and bubble. Remove from heat; stir in onions, garlic and vinegar. Set aside.

Saute bell pepper and broccoli in oil, adding salt and pepper, until tender. Add sauce and toasted sesame seeds.
