1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 room temperature eggs
1 cup sugar
2 Tblsp. softened butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. lemon extract
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup oil
zest of one lemon

Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 Tblsp. milk
1/2 tsp. lemon juice or extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 9x5 loaf pan. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and powder and salt. In separate medium sized bowl, combine eggs, sugar, butter, and vanilla, lemon extract, and lemon juice with a mixer until blended. Pour dry ingredients into wet mixture and mix until smooth. Add oil and lemon zest and mix well. Pour into pan and bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven and place on rack. Whisk together glaze ingredients and pour over pound cake. Enjoy! If you poke holes in the top with a fork, the glaze can saturate the cake.
