1 head Romaine lettuce
1 cup chopped celery
2 green onions thinly sliced - include green
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1 T. plus 1 tsp. sugar
1/4 salad oil
2 T. each of sugar & vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
dash pepper
1 T. snipped parsley
1 can mandarin oranges well drained

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar & almonds on low heat until sugar melts and nuts are coated. Cool, break apart.
For the dressing mix together oil, vinegar, sugar, salt & pepper. Toss with remaining ingredients and serve.
