Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
"Uncle Cliff" (Cliff Giesbrecht) has made thousands of these cookies and were a favourite at the Log Barn fruit stand/market in Enderby, BC. He is no longer able to make his cookies due to failing health and I was honoured to be given the recipe (recited from memory, of course), which I am sharing with you. I OK'd with him first, and he was thrilled it was going into a cook book.
