1 cup unsalted butter
1 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup unsweet cocoa powder
6 tbsp. crème de cassis or raspberry liqueur (not cheap stuff)
pinch of salt
6 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract

GLAZE
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp. crème de cassis
1/2 tsp vanilla

CAKE: Preheat oven 350 and spray 9 inch pan. Microwave butter and chocolate chips 30 second intervals, 2 minutes. Combine sugar, cocoa powder, crème de cassis, salt, eggs and vanilla. then add choc/butter mixture. Mix until smooth. Pour into pan and bake 45 minutes. Let cool completely.

GLAZE:Place chocolate chips in heat proof dish. Bring cream just to boil and then pour over chocolate chips. Let stand 5 minutes then mix until smooth. Add vanilla and crème de cassis. Pour over cooled cake.
