2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
2 cups half & half
4 tsp. dried tarragon
1/2 tsp. pepper
16 oz. linguine or spaghetti, cooked and drained
6 cups cubed cooked chicken
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
paprika (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine soup, half & half, tarragon and pepper. Stir in the linguine and chicken. Transfer to an ungreased 4-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese and paprika if desired. Bake, uncovered, in a preheated 350º oven for 30 minutes or until heated through.

This recipe is great if you have any leftover chicken. We remember mom making the same casserole, but using leftover ham or turkey. It is very versatile. If you are not a big fan of tarragon, omit it. You can also add 2 cups of cooked mushrooms when using leftover turkey and make a delicious, yet simple, Turkey Tetrazzini!
