Potatoes- any amount (frozen hash browns will do)
2 small onions sliced
1 package wieners (hot dogs)
salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoon of vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Peal potatoes and prepare as for hash browns. Slice wieners in small pieces. Slice onions. Cook all in water until potatoes are almost soft. Drain any excess water. Add oil and brown. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook until potatoes are done. Sometimes the wieners turn the potatoes red. If you do not want this, then precook the wieners in another pan and drain the water and add to potatoes and onion.

Our family loved this in the 1970s. We all kind of made this up. This was the time of the Hamburger Helper thing that we did not care for. Was a fun time in my life.
