1+1/2 cup- sugar, divided
1 tsp.- baking powder
3 cups- flour
1 cup- (2 sticks) cold salted butter
1- egg
Juice of one lemon
4 tsp.- cornstarch
4 cups- blueberries

Directions:

Pre-heat oven 375º
Spray a 13x9x2 baking pan with cooking spray
In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup sugar, baking powder and flour.
Use a pastry cutter or fork to blend in butter and egg.
Evenly spread 1/2 of the mixture in the bottom of the pan, and press firmly.
In a separate medium bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Gently fold blueberries, coating evenly with sugar mixture. Spread berry mixture evenly over crust.
Sprinkle remaining dough mixture over berries.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until just golden brown.
Allow to cool and cut into small squares.
