CHICKEN STEW
4 chicken breasts
carrots and celery [as little or as much as you want]
chopped onion [optional]
DUMPLING MIXTURE
2c. Bisquick [do NOT use gluten free Bisquick]
2/3 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
1. Wash chicken thoroughly
2. Remove excess fat
3. Cut celery and carrots into pieces
4. Cover mixture with water
5. Cook chicken breasts sprinkled with salt and pepper in crock pot with carrots, celery and onion until chicken is thoroughly cooked
6. Carefully ladel or pour from crock pot to large pan on stove
7. Bring stew to boil
8. Mix up the dumpling mixture
9. Add dumpling mixture on stew by heaping tablespoons
10. Cook uncovered for 10 minutes
