6 potatoes
fresh peas or 1 pkg. frozen peas
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Scrub potatoes. Cut in uniform pieces. Boil until tender, adding the peas for the last few minutes of cooking. Drain.

In a separate pan over low heat, melt the butter. Blend in flour and seasonings. Stir until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in milk. Return to heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Pour over the vegetables and stir together.
