½ C sugar
¼ C Hershey's Cocoa (powder)
Dash of salt
1/3 C Hot water
3 C milk
3/4 tsp vanilla
1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, cocoa and salt in a saucepan, stir in hot water. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils. Boil and stir for 2 minutes.
Stir in milks and heat. DO NOT BOIL.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.

This is old school hot chocolate. It was a treat to have a mug with a marshmallow in it.
