2 cups raisin
hot water enough to cover raisins
1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup raisin water
4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 cups oatmeal
Directions:
Directions:
Place raisins in bowl and cover with hot water. Let stand until ready to add to rest. Save 1 cup of raisin water/juice, drain rest leaving raisins only. Mix rest of ingredients together, add in drained raisins. Bake at 375º.
