1 Fresh pork shoulder , 5 to 7 lbs
1 Tbs salt
2 Tbs sugar
Pepper to taste
1 1/4 C vinegar
1/2 C ketchup
1/2 C Barbeque sauce
1 1/2 Tbs crushed red pepper
Dash of hot sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Put pork in slow cooker. Sprinkle salt and pepper over pork shoulder and add vinegar. Cover and cook on low for 9 - 12 hrs. Remove from pot and pick meat from bones and shred. Strain liquid , discard fat , and keep 1 1/2 - 2 cups of vinegar . Add remaining ingredients. Mix with shredded meat and return to crockpot. Cover and cook on LOW for 1 - 2 hours longer. Freezes well.
