1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 3 medium)
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt


FROSTING:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º
In large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, bananas, and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well.
Pour into a greased 15 x 10 pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out dry.
Remove from oven and cool.

For frosting, cream together butter and cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat well. Spread over cooled bars.
