8 cups popped corn. Remove unpopped kernels.
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup white corn syrup
1/3 cup water
1/2 stick butter or margarine
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
butter to grease hands

Directions:
Directions:
* Place popcorn in a large bowl.
* In a saucepan bring: sugar, corn syrup, water, butter &
salt to a 240ºF boil. * Add vanilla. * Pour over popcorn & stir gently to coat.* Butter hands & mold into 12-15 balls.

I can see Mom & Dad making these on Christmas Eve to take to the Wright Christmas celebration. Dad popped the popcorn, mom made the syrup and they both made the balls. They were so sticky in our teeth. Over the years they made hundreds of them!~Susan
