Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 lbs. fresh asparagus, ends trimmed
1 pkg. bacon
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium)
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Wash asparagus and trim ends.Take a bundle of the asparagus (depending on the thickness of the pieces) and wrap a piece of bacon around each bundle, starting about 1/2" from the bottom of the spears.
If bundles are all wrapped and you have extra bacon left, wrap the larger bundles with another piece of bacon. Lay bundles in a low sided casserole dish (usually a 9 x 13)
In a medium saucepan, combine the brown sugar, butter, soy sauce, garlic salt and pepper. Bring mixture to a boil. Pour the hot sugar mixture over the bundles.
Transfer dish to preheated oven to 400º oven and roast until spears begin to wilt and bacon looks fully cooked (approximately 25 minutes).
