Personal Notes:
This is a recipe that my Mom gave me to make one year for Thanksgiving. I had never heard of a buttermilk pie and had no idea what to expect! I remember calling her once I mixed it up because of the consistency, and then calling her again when it was done because I didn't know what it was supposed to look like! It was a hit and is requested at just about every family event since then. People fight over them and hide them so they can have a whole pie. I am in trouble if I don't show up with at least 4 each time!
