2 cups self rising flour
2 cups sugar
1 stick margarine
1/4 cup shortening
1 cup water
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs, unbeaten
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Frosting:
1 stick margarine
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1/3 cup buttermilk
1 box confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well the flour and sugar.
Bring to boil the margarine, shortening, water and cocoa.
Pour the hot mixture into the flour mixture, blend well. Add 1/2 cup buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla. Mix well, batter will be thin.
Pour into an 11 X 16 X 1" pan, Bake at 400º F until done, (about 20 minutes).
Frosting:
Boil margarine, cocoa and buttermilk until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients.
Frost cake while hot.
