3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/3 cup salad oil
1 egg
1/2 tsp. Baking soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 cup Sour milk, (I used 1/2 tsp. Lemon in 1/2 cup milk to sour)
1 1/4 cups flour
1 cup rhubarb
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 T. Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together brown sugar, oil, and egg. Mix soda, salt, vanilla, and sour milk; add to first mixture. Stir in flour and rhubarb.

Pour batter into greased and floured loaf pan. Sprinkle top with mixture of sugar and butter. Bake 350 oven for 1 hour. Let stand about 10 minutes before removing from pan.

My favorite rhubarb recipe! This is from Moms favorite Eastern Junior League Cookbook. Although, I don't think she ever made it. Page 328, The Junior League of Bangor, Maine.
