1 cup butter;
1 cup sugar;
1 cup dark brown sugar;
2 tbls cinnamon;
2 eggs;
1 tsp baking soda;
1/2 tsp salt;
2 cups flour

Directions:
Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and dry ingredients. Batter will be a bit thinner than some cookies. If you have time chill dough before baking. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 8-9 min.

These are Nana Hannah's most famous cookies and very few can produce them quite like she could. Probably because she didn't use a recipe and made them from memory. I finally pinned her down and I think this is the best reproduction. Note there is no vanilla and you can play with the flour amount to make them really thin and crispy or a bit more plump.
