Beat with mixer
3 eggs slightly beaten
¾ cup sugar
¾ cup melted butter

Add
1 ½ cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 ½ tsp. anise extract
2 tsp vanilla
1 TBS anise seed

Directions:

Drop by spoonfuls onto Pizzelle cookie iron
Check after 1 minute by raising lid on iron, slowly
If they come apart, they are not done
They will stick to one side when they are done

Heat the iron for about 15 minutes before starting, with the lid closed
Spray with a little PAM first
This recipe makes very thin cookies
The first few cookies may not turn out but the crumbs are yummy !!!
